Real Estate & Home Modification Consultant
Conquer’s role as the home modification consultant is to assist clients in assessing potential new homes to determine what modifications would need to be made to allow clients to live in place as long as safely possible. This gives the client an idea on expenses that may arise to make the built environment meet their needs in one or multiple homes the client may be considering.
Occupational therapists have a unique skill set to not only assess people in their occupations and environment, but we also go through extensive training to be well versed on the human body and medical conditions. We understand a multitude of diagnoses and disease progression and can help clients and caregivers forward think to best prepare for future physical, visual, or cognitive barriers. We take this and apply it in working with Natalie and clients to find the best home for that family. Truly, we become a powerhouse when we combine her expertise in real estate and my expertise as an occupational therapist to serve clients. Through our discussions of our partnership, we thought through the process of a move from start to finish. We recognize how daunting and overwhelming a move can be, so we also gathered as many additional supports to take the stress off our clients and make moving a little less stressful. Natalie works on getting the clients current home in selling condition with the assistance of a professional home stager and photographer to get clients top dollar on the sale of the current home. We also will make recommendations for other key people in the buying and selling of the home to make the process run smoothly and most importantly save our clients the stress of having to look for help. We have an amazing resource list of companies and individuals we know and trust to offer clients when they need recommendations for lenders, movers, organizers, and contractors. Contractors & Home Modification Consultant
Whether a client wants to stay in the home they currently live in or maybe move to a new home that still requires some work to make it truly fit their needs, I have found some amazing local businesses to partner with on this new endeavor. I was frankly surprised when I started calling a few owners of construction companies to tell them my vision and hope for a partnership to hear them excited and very interested in working together. My role as a home modification consultant in a home renovation project can be as simple as making a handful of recommendations after an extensive assessment of the environment to seeing out a complete home build or renovation project with the client and general contractor to ensure universal design features are carried out in a tasteful and functional way.
I always tell clients that my background is that of a healthcare professional, but I do have knowledge, experience, and a passion for home design to assist them in the design of the project as well as home modifications. I also will always reach out to another professional when something goes beyond my scope to get the best result. If you are reading this and you or someone you know is considering a home renovation, this is the time to reach out to have an expert come evaluate the environment to give recommendations on how to implement universal design features into this plan. Forward thinking is key!

His volunteer work lead to a position with Harris Home Concepts located in St Louis, MO where he worked full-time while earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. After which, he moved into a project management role at Pella Windows & Doors. During his time with Pella, he continued his passion for learning, and completed his certification in Construction Office Management. Then in 2003 Tom achieved the dream of owning his own construction company, Stuckey Construction Company LLC.
In May of 2016, Tom and his family relocated to Jacksonville Florida, where Tom went to work for FGC, Inc. a top eight General Contractor in Jacksonville. It was also during his time in Florida that he completed and passed arguably the hardest Certified General Contractor test in the United States!
Tom has completed and participated in projects of all shapes and sizes from 2000SF – 12000 SF homes, commercial build outs, strip malls, and 5 story hotels. Tom and his team have the experience to guide the project from conception to completion.
The inspiration for the company name Eagle Eye Builder Group LLC, came from Tom’s time in the Boy Scouts (he is still an active Eagle Scout and adult leader). He believes that the Boy Scouts have helped shape him into the person he is today, personally and professionally. He enjoys hockey, the outdoors and when he’s not building something, you can catch him enjoying time with his wife, three young daughters, and German Shorthair Pointer (Diesel).
